1月1日何処からか聴こえた甘えたような猫の鳴き声､何処かで子猫が鳴いているのかと辺りを探しても姿は見つからず
いつしか実家のあちらこちらから聴こえ始めた猫達の鳴き声
毎朝毎晩明け方ずぅっと鳴いていました
ある日実家から見える家の壁に沿った細いパイプの上に壁に身を寄せじっとこちらを見つめる猫
近づくと家のベランダへと逃げて行きました……
家に戻りカーテンの隙間からベランダを覗くと……
まだ若そうなこちらをじぃっと見つめる猫の姿……
ここで鳴いていたのか……
そんな小さな猫に癒された一瞬

On January 1st, I heard a sweet cat meowing from somewhere. I looked around to see if a kitten was meowing somewhere, but I couldn't find it.
Before I knew it, I started hearing the cries of cats coming from all over my parents' house.
It was screaming all the time at dawn every morning and night.
One day, a cat huddled against the wall on top of a thin pipe along the wall of the house that could be seen from my parents' house, staring intently at me.
When I approached it, it ran away to the balcony of the house...
When I returned home and looked at the balcony through the gap between the curtains...
A cat staring at me, who still looks young...
Was it crying here...?
